Getting To Know How Long To E Cig Atomizers Last

By Rich Tompson

The atomizer is an essential component of an e cig. Without this, the user won't be able to inhale any vapor to replicate smoking. But this component is made to be disposable. The moment it fails to work, it has to be removed from the device and a new one needs to be installed, just like a disposable cartridge. Below you can find how long to e cig atomizers last.

It's hard to tell the exact lifespan of an atomizer as it varies from case to case. Some people claim that they normally have to do a replacement every 2 to 4 weeks. Some claim that theirs lasted for more than a month. Then there are also those who report the ones they're using only last for a few days. Different factors exist that affect its lifespan.

One of them is the frequency of vaping. The atomizer's lifespan becomes shorter the more frequently you whip out the device to puff. That's due to the fact that it constantly experiences temperature changes over and over again as you use the device. In order to convert into vapor the substance housed in the cartridge, the filament inside the component needs to heat up. Eventually, the atomizer will fail to work properly.

It's also susceptible to getting clogged up, another thing that affects its lifespan. This can also diminish the amount of vapor it produces. The reason for this is because of a few ingredients in the substance the component vaporizes. They can stick to the wick, a part which enables the atomizer to draw out some of the substance in the cartridge, and burn there. This affects this component's performance.

But just because this part gets clogged doesn't mean there's no more hope for your atomizer. By cleaning it, it's possible that you may still be able to use it. Remove it from the rest of the device's components. Place it in hot water and let it stay in there overnight. This softens the sediments that have formed on the wick. Rinse it afterwards in running water.

However, it's not all the time that you can restore it simply by following the cleaning method above. If so, install a new one as it's really intended to be replaceable anyway. For a device with a fitted switch, bring it close to your ear and press the switch. When you hear a sizzling sound, this means that the atomizer is still functioning and may just need to be cleaned. But if there's no sound, discard the atomizer.

The lifespan is also affected by the component's quality. It's therefore essential that you go for a device whose manufacturer is trusted by a lot of people. Fortunately, there's a way to tell whether or not the atomizer you're using is a quality one. It should be able to produce enough vapor without heating up a lot and easily draining the battery.

How long to e cig atomizers last depend on all the factors mentioned above. See to it that you always got a reserve handy, especially if you order them online. Without an atomizer around to use, you're likely to reach for that stick of cigarette.
